The project aims to build a water barrier dam at the outlet of the fourth spillway of the Toshka spillways.
Preventing the dangers of water leakage is useful and the possibility of flooding one of Paris in the New Valley – Controlling the water in front of the dam and releasing it according to specific programs to contribute to irrigating areas in the region
The length of the dam body is about 36 meters, its width is 230 meters, and its height is 30 meters, in addition to a front control room and another in the middle of the dam body and a wall at the dam outlet to distribute water to irrigate the basins of the reeds that are being reclaimed and cultivated with the dam water.
The water is pushed from the front to the back of the dam through 4 2 m diameter steel pipes, controlled as previously through the two control rooms and the back weir.
